School
Roope and Rene meet at the Finnish School of Watchmaking, discovering their shared passion for precision craftsmanship beyond standard repair work.
2023
School watch development
Granted special permission to focus their final six months of education on creating their own school watch instead of repair work, laying the foundation for their future designs.

Launch of EKA
The culmination of their journey - the introduction of Kortela Valta timepiece, "Eka", embodying Roope and Rene 's commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and Finnish watchmaking tradition.
